Help Desk Self Service is used to submit University network reservation requests for:

To request a a network reservation, please submit a request via Help Desk Self Service using the following instructions:

  1. Browse to Help Desk Self Service (link will open in a new window).
  2. Log in with your BroncoWeb username and password (only employees will be able to log in).
  3. Choose Open a Request Now! at upper-right.

  4. This will display a form. From the drop-down list of request types, choose "NETWORK EXEMPTION REQUEST"

  5. Type a general description of your issue in the * Describe your issue field, then scroll down to the bottom of the page. You should see several form fields to fill out.

  6. For Type of Exemption, choose from: "Clean Access Exceptions (MAC address required)," "DNS Names and Static IP addresses," "SMTP email relay (IP address required)," or "DHCP reserved IP address (MAC address & IP address required)."
  7. Fill in the remaining fields. Please note failure to provide necessary information may delay your request.
  8. When you're finished with your request, click the Submit link at lower-left to send to OIT.

Approved exemptions are processed on Wednesdays. Requests must be submitted by 5:00 pm on Tuesday to be processed Wednesday.

Requests submitted after the deadline will be processed the following week on Wednesday.

Any priority request that needs to be completed outside of that weekly window must be specified in the box above, and will be assessed a fee of $9.00. Priority requests must be specified in the "* Describe your issue" textbox at the top of the form.
