Using Google Apps with Mobile Devices

Getting Started

You can access Google Apps on the most popular mobile devices, including iPhone/iPod Touch, BlackBerry, Palm WebOS, Google Android/Droid, and many more.

Please note OIT has only tested Google Apps integration on BlackBerry, Android, and iPhone/iPod Touch devices.

Other devices and sync software may work, but OIT has neither tested nor trained on those programs and platforms, and is unable to support them.

What You Will Need

Before configuring your mobile device for Google Apps, ensure your Gmail account is configured to enable IMAP and POP access.

In most circumstances, you will need to use your Google password (separate from your BroncoWeb password) for your connection. When prompted for a username during the configuration process, use your full email address (username@boisestate.edu)

If you have any problems making a connection, clear the captcha for your Google Apps account (use only your username, not your email address where prompted; enter your Google password).
