Log In to BroncoMail Powered by Google
Open a web browser and browse to:
http://broncomail.u.boisestate.edu/

Reset Your BroncoMail Password
Your BroncoMail password is the same as your BroncoWeb password. This password expires every 90 days. You will receive no automated notification your password has expired.
To reset your password, browse to the BroncoWeb Home Page.
- If you know your password, log into BroncoWeb and reset it by clicking on the Change your Password link.
- If you don't know your password, click the Set My New Password / I Forgot My Password link.
The University requires all computer system passwords to be a minimum of 8 characters in length, expire no more than every 90 days, and contain at least 1 numeric character and 1 special character (a special character is defined as any character not alphabetic or numeric, including a space). Additionally, you cannot use any password you've previously used within the last 365 days.
POP and IMAP
If you don't wish to use the BroncoMail powered by Google web client to read your email, you can configure other email clients to do so.

Be sure to use your full email address (username@u.boisestate.edu) when setting up the POP configuration, and clear the captcha for your Google Apps account. - For IMAP configuration instructions, see Google's website.

You'll need to use your Google Apps password to use POP or IMAP. Your Google Apps password is not the same as your BroncoMail password. You can set this password by browsing to http://broncomail.u.boisestate.edu and choosing Set your Google Password at the bottom-center.
Please note the Help Desk can provide you with basic information for connecting and configuring IMAP and POP clients to send and receive BroncoMail, but we cannot answer functional questions regarding how to use the programs.
How to Forward BroncoMail powered by Google

Mobile Devices
Google Apps mobile applications allow you to view your e-mail on smartphones, as well as many popular cell phones. You'll need to use your Google password (see info) for these services.
Special Note about Apple iPhone: The OIT Help Desk recommends using the Google application on iPhone and iPod Touch devices. If you don't have an iPhone 3G model, be sure to update your device software to version 2.x, then visit the Apps Store to download the free Google application.
Upon launch, the Google app will prompt you to type in a domain for your Google Apps account. Type u.boisestate.edu into this field. Then use this application to check your email, calendar, use GoogleTalk, and read your Google Docs.
