Google Apps for Employees

Google Apps

Google Apps for Employees is a suite of web-based collaboration tools, including email, chat, calendaring, word processing, spreadsheets, and wikis (team websites).

Passwords: Your Google Apps login password is identical to your BroncoWeb password. To reset this password, see our Password Change page.

There are other Google Apps features, such as Google Talk and IMAP, that require a proprietary Google Apps password, which is separate from your BroncoWeb password. This password can be reset by choosing the Set your Google Password link at the bottom-center of the Google Apps login page.

BroncoMail

BroncoMailBroncoMail powered by Google is the University's student email system.

All students are given BroncoMail email accounts upon admission to the University.

Passwords: Your BroncoMail password is the same as your BroncoWeb password. To reset your BroncoMail password, do so via the BroncoWeb website.

You also have a proprietary Google password for use with advanced Google features such as Google Talk and IMAP/POP. The Google password is not synchronized with your BroncoWeb/BroncoMail password. You can set your Google password by clicking the "Set your Google Password" link at the bottom center of the BroncoMail login page.

Listserv Discussion Groups

ListservListserv "lists" are discussion groups to which users may subscribe (join). Email messages are sent to one address (the "list"), which then sends copies to everyone subscribed to the list.

Password: To reset your Listserv password, contact the OIT Help Desk at 426-4357.

The Office of Communications and Marketing will assist senders in determining the best method of dissemination.

e-EditionThe Idaho Statesman e-Edition Daily Email is an email message automatically delivered each weekday morning to faculty, staff and students at Boise State University.

Members of the campus community can choose to opt-out, opt-in, or troubleshoot their e-Edition status.
